My whole thing is helping you bring your values to life, through communications.
I do that in lots of ways.
And I know what I’m doing: I have 25 years’ experience. As a political reporter in Scotland, a communications advisor to diplomats in Papua New Guinea, an aid and development PR manager in Melbourne, a government comms leader in Tasmania, and now a communications whizz for hire.
I’ve definitely clocked up the Malcolm Gladwell 10,000 hours for mastery of communications. And I’m ready to share my experience and know-how with you.

Outside work
I’ll mostly be relaxing in my cosy 1920s home with my wonderful wife. I might meditate or enjoy yoga (I have a room for this). I potter in the garden (will those weeds ever let up?) and watch my football team conjure sporting magic (or get horribly thrashed).
On sunny days, I’ll bushwalk in the hills and valleys of Tasmania. Or shake off my homebody introversion to hang out with my charming friends. I cherish reading, treasure it (are libraries the greatest ever expression of civic culture? Answer: yes). Lately I’ve started planning a crime novel, set in Hobart.
Beyond that, I love TV drama (especially crime – Shetland anyone?); I delight in Tassie pinot or British ale; I daydream in broad daylight; I pat animals; and I indulge in morning tea.
